do you guys ever watch a youtube video or some show and think to yourself "i wonder what i was doing when this was being filmed?" i think that would would be an interesting superpower to have, to just instantly know what you were doing whenever you're watching something. 

maybe that's why livestreams are so popular, not just because of the interaction and the feeling of being in a crowd, but also because you know that what you're watching is taking place right now, somewhere in the world. it's hard to really get that feeling with vods.

nyahaha, it's me again. enjoy the 8 hours vod!! this is the vod i was talking about where i lay on my bed for a little i think

i've been going to school for the past couple of months in an attempt to solidify my financial future, as i have realized that hoping to die by 30 is no longer a viable life plan. i was surprised to reach 20, and then i was surprised to reach 25, and now with my birthday in literally a week it's looking like im at LEAST gonna hit 28. which is scarily close to 30 soooo...

it's a little strange, because i've only ever done retail jobs and... this. which is actually quite similar to retail in a lot of ways! but it's scary attempting to better myself, because i have this complex where i really hate being bad at things and i REALLY hate failing, to the extent that i would rather not try to do something if there's the slightest possibility i fail. i've been trying to move past this persistant feeling for a while now, and it feels like i'm actually making process.

that's not to say that the feeling is completely gone though. a lot of times i'll be studying and think to myself, "am i REALLY thinking that i'm going to be able to do this professionally? me? seems kinda unlikely!" at this point though i've accepted that it's just The Voice :tm:, and i shouldn't listen to it.

i hope maybe this helps someone out there with a similar problem. i know it's hard to believe you can do something new and scary after being complacent for so long, but you can do anything you put your mind to!

not sure if you guys use twitter or not, but last year i revealed that i am - and have been since a while before i started vtubing - a trans woman. blah blah blah arty who cares? i kinda do! to be honest, i kinda figured it was something that was obvious the whole time, but i refrained from outright saying it because i was afraid to drive people away. 

in the years since i've started vtubing i've made peace with a lot of things. one of those things i've made peace with is the fact that i don't want people who disapprove of my existence to watch me stream. i've also made peace with the fact that this is going to be something i have to deal with for the rest of my life, so there's no point in running from it now! i guess you can consider this description a part of that, but i also mention trans subjects more than a few times during multiple of these oblivion vods.

despite everything, life is pretty great, and i'm the most happy i've been in a long time. i hope to share a small bit of that happiness with you.

hi again! once again, music is missing from the starting screen as i was playing copyright stuff, but the rest of the vod should have audio!

i recently bought a bass guitar (a yamaha trbx304 for whoevers curious) and i'm a little nervous because while i do have a lot of music experience, i don't have any experience playing guitars, and only minimal experience playing string instruments. but! i am excited to learning a new skill!

whenever i've tried to improve at a skill in the past, i always fall into this really poor mentality of "i don't want to do this if i'm not good at it" which, obviously, isn't very productive when i'm trying to learn new things. but i'm trying to push back that kind of thought process because it obviously sucks, and i'm very excited for my shiny - BLUE - new guitar to arrive!
