I really love this song, and I love Uta as a character. I also respect Ado so much as a singer. I know I've got a long way to go, but I wanted to try because it's a great song for a great movie and as soon as I heard it, it made me wanna get back into rock (my roots before japanese music). I wasn't sure about actually finishing and posting this, to be honest. But after finding out that Uta was partly inspired by AO and I's "Princess" I knew I had to. I thought about singing this song with Rachie the minute I heard it, because I love this song's original version and I was like "hmm who is one of the most incredible singers of Japanese that I know?" and wow, it was Rachie! I couldn't believe it when she agreed to cover it with me and I was so so happy I asked... Though. Y'all know, I'm mainly a rapper. I'm still not confident in my singing voice (especially in Japanese), it needs work but you only learn by doing. That's how I became good at rap, after all. So if I want to be good at singing, I have to try. I didn't want Rachie to have to carry the cover herself, so... I did my best! And got my favorite mixer of all time (K's) to make sure it sounded solid. If I'm correct, the new Made in Abyss movie is supposed to be coming out in America soon. And a new volume releasing soon, too! So I hope it's well timed, and that you enjoy this. Maybe it seems random, for me. But, as you guys know, I don't really need a reason. I do what I want, sing what I want, even if it doesn't fit a theme or my general imagine. so no regrets here, just hoping folks can enjoy! p.s. we don't speak a ton of Japanese but we triED!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RACHIE: stan DEMONDICE and stream all…https://archive.ragtag.moe/embed/LHcCzfFMq-s2242020-07-15T14:45:01ZDEMONDICEhttps://archive.ragtag.moe/watch?v=wPfm4lwMVI8https://content.archive.ragtag.moe/gd:1X8hZ10XrxwI5X14F5QwWUR3_YKnwRDcP/wPfm4lwMVI8/wPfm4lwMVI8.jpgVillain(ヴィラン) English Cover- DEMONDICE【てにをは ・ flower】"this one goes out to all the fallen greatest villains of all time." credits: vocals/english lyrics/mix/illust/movie: DEMONDICE (@demondicekaren) original music and track by てにをは（@edogawa_sampo） original illustration：ねここ（@nekoko_35） original :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9FJXfGHtDA&t=48s www.demondice.net All my music is on spotify, apple music etc. but covers cannot be streamed. The strange and whacky dark-pop instrumentation mixed with pop rock almost hit exactly the type of vibe DEMONDICE strives for, so I had to cover it. Usually I make my own MV with my character in the place of the main characters, but due to the subject matter and story it didn't feel appropriate, so I drew fanart! Like teniwoha, I tried to leave lyrical clues instead of ham-fisting the underlying story and theme, so I had to take some liberties but I do hope you'll enjoy it as it's probably my favorite cover I've ever made, despite not being rap. side note: i don't care how you pronounce "stamens" im stiCKIN TO WHAT My sCIENce teACHER said-!! enjoy, everyone!! --------------------------------------------- ENGLISH LYRICS: Hateful stares perforate my vision when seen holding hands Run a rat race- senseless competition, report right back as planned I’m not a freak of nature It’s just the way that I’ve matured Guessing is it “X” or maybe “Y”? Blinded by the romance of adventure at the start line, over time that vagrant kid became disenchanted with reality, developing dangerous opinions and thoughts of her own. Because truth is stranger than fiction. It’s DEMONDICE’s riskiest project yet. The next riddle sung in 7 stories is an autobiography of the children of the Internet. “Why do you look so tormented?” Breaking free from the chains of mass appeal, a demon finally answers. ==================== -Track List- 01. Scott SKRap/Lyrics/Movie/Art: DEMONDICE (Karen) Feat. Scott SK Mix: Dragan Arsenijevic Napoleon ORIGINAL SONG by: [...] サンテンリーダー (@3ten_stl) TRACK: Nyankobrq (@nyankobrq) soundcloud.com/nyankobrq I had a lot of fun with this, and I'm so glad Scott could join me, too. That guy never lets me down, big ups to him. Anyway, I love Santen Leader, they're a swell group of guys and it was a pleasure to cover the song. A big thanks to the homie Mako (takojanaimakoda) for translating it. NOTE: Me and Scott's verses are NOT literal translations of yello and sakutyo's verses. We make small references to their verses, but as rappers, we wanted to keep it original and true to ourselves. The HOOK and the 3rd verse, however, are kept as literally as possible. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LYRICS: Coming Soon! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'M DEMONDICE. (No...) Singing just so I can try to feel good before I die An egotistic, self-satisfying hybrid Even so, I'd like to sing to those who kept on listening Comin' straight from my heart- "arigato" Even though my song is really not that loud at all I'm genuinely glad it reaches somewhere. To be the sun and shed my light upon everyone... I'm not sure I'm meant to play that part. But maybe I can find some meaning in trying to be like the moon up in the sky, shining down to ease your twisted heart. I love FAKE TYPE. and the videos made by PPP, so I created this "fake PV" as a small tribute. None of the characters depicted or the music belongs to me! The song belongs to FAKE TYPE. as do the characters. The character designs are done by Rojiko, though I made some small personal adjustments for this project. All I did was make the video! AOhttp://tamaonsen.com/ DISCLAIMER: I am not affiliated with TAMAONSEN in any way, I just wanted to make this PV for after effects practice. AO-san is my favorite Jrapper and singer, plus this song resonates with me on a really deep level. I'd always wanted to make a j-style PV of sorts, for YEARS. Thus the simplicity! Thanks for checking it out. Please check out more TAMAONSEN music! Listen to more of AO-san's music, too. www.faketype.net Another quick thing: Japanese is not my first language! I had the song translated and the jp characters transcribed into copy/pasteable type by a freelancer. However, I found a mistake or two on my own so I trust there may be a few more. My apologies! I did my best, haha. (english subtitles available)https://archive.ragtag.moe/embed/-hEs0Jqu8Hk2992016-06-14T03:09:25ZDEMONDICE
